Airport Identification Badge Process


Badge Types and Requirements: Glacier Park International Airport issues identification badges to personnel requiring access to restricted areas.  All badges are issued in accordance with TSA and CFR 49 part 1542 regulatory requirements and require training and background check(s) prior to issue.  The badge and associated training are valid for one year and may be renewed 30 days prior to expiration.  Any badge expired for more than 180 days cannot be renewed, and obtaining a new badge will require going through the initial badging process again.


AOA Badge:

Who: General Aviation / Hangar Access

Requirement: STA Background Check and GPIA Training

Cost:

New Badge: $14
Renewal: $10


SIDA/Sterile Badge:

Who: Airlines / FBO / Personnel Requiring Access to the Secured Areas of the Ramp/Terminal

Requirements: STA and CHRC (fingerprint) Background Checks and GPIA Training

Cost:

New Badge w/fingerprints: $44
New Badge w/o fingerprints $14
Renewal $10


Lost Badge:

All badges must be returned upon expiration, termination or renewal.  In order to prevent unauthorized access, any lost badge must be immediately reported to GPIA at (406) 257-5994.

Fee:

Lost Badge: $200
